I’m interested in exploring myself through the photographs I’ve taken. When I make prints I relive the excitement of the shoot, and when I reflect on the theme, I ultimately think the answer is myself.

It may sound strange to say that the theme of the photograph is not in the image, but it is important to understand the certain feeling that made trigger the shutter. Photography shows the subject too clearly, and it is difficult to see the artist.

Lately, I am chasing the feeling I get when I take photos and thinking of the meaning of memory and the dimension of the world I live in.

The world of photography has changed drastically since the year 2000 from film to digital. I switched mediums to one hundred percent digital in 2011 following a trip to Jordan. Though I was known as a black & white photographer until then, I have since begun to show my work in color also. I enjoy the total control of the both worlds even though manipulation of my images by the digital tools is never my intension. I just want show what I see.
